Lead User Experience Designer

Overview:

Solera Networks is looking for a seasoned User Experience Designer who is passionate about design, fluid user interactions, and successful products. You will own UX for the Solera Networks product line today and shape the future product look and feel. You will be responsible for driving cross-team collaboration with our team of program managers, product planners and developers from the early stages of feature planning through implementation and delivery. You will need to think strategically, be creative, and negotiate design solutions that align with business goals and user needs. Using your abilities to identify new opportunities and generate innovative ideas, you will own, envision, communicate and lead the design direction to make our industry leading network forensic products even more successful.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive cross-team collaboration while championing user interaction design
• Design and deliver fluid, innovating and intuitive user experiences with all user interfaces
• Work with product stakeholders while owning and driving the overall user experence

Personal Requirements:

• Must be both creative and pragmatic, with an eye for accuracy and detail.
• Must be a strong conceptual designer who can think and design with usability, accessibility, and localization in mind
• The candidate must demonstrate an ability to multitask on various design projects while maintaining schedules and communicating team status
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong influencing and negotiation abilities
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong metrics focus

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS or MS in CS/EE
