Terry Haas Named CEO

Solera Networks appoints Terry Haas as Chief Executive Officer - Founder Bryan Sparks moves to Chairman of the Board.

Solera Networks, a leading provider of network monitoring and management products, today announced the appointment of Terry Haas as President and Chief Executive Officer. Founder Bryan Sparks will continue to play an active role as Executive Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Haas has a broad management background in the network and security software markets, serving as an executive with Novell and SonicWall. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales for North America and EMEA for LANDesk Software, which was acquired by Avocent (NASDAQ: AVCT) in September, 2006. Haas’ experience includes extensive worldwide sales, marketing and product management expertise in both startup and large, mature companies.

Solera Networks announced last week that Canopy Ventures had invested $3.9 Million into the company, with proceeds primarily targeted at expanding Solera’s sales and marketing efforts.
