User Interface Screen Shots
UI Home
The User Interface home page displays information about the status of your capture device, including bytes captured, current capture speed, max capture speed, and more. It is also the central place to manage all of your capture interfaces. It allows you to stop and start capture on any or all interfaces from a central location.
Interactive Graph
The interactive graph lets you visualize all of your captured traffic. When you find an interesting portion, you are able to begin playback or download a PCAP of that traffic.
Statistics
The storage system report gives vital details about a capture appliance's storage, capture rate, packet count, and many other statistics.
Size On Disk Statistics
Shows the size on disk of each Ethernet device.
Profile Management
The profile management option allows you to update your profile.

DeepSee Search
This intuitive search provides advanced options to narrow your search. Options include string search, time parameters, user or IP, as well as type of traffic to search and types of files to include in the results.
Sonar
Sonar offers file-system navigation of all captured data, providing automated folder-based filtering and instant PCAP generation. Sonar allows you to drill down into captured traffic by any parameter and is endlessly recursive.
Deep See Reports
Displays visual representations of captured traffic, helping the user quickly see what is happening on the network.
Top Conversations
Shows the top conversations between IP addresses and how much traffic they have generated. It is also possible to look at a specific period of captured traffic.
Packet Size Distribution
Shows the size of all captured packets and can be as granular as needed down to single bytes. The display can also be limited by time parameters.
IP Discovery
Provides a list of IPs that have transmitted data across the network and the hostname (if known), packets, amount of data, earliest packet, and latest packet transferred.
Search Results
Displays a list of all captured files that satisfy the requirements of the custom search parameters specified in DeepSee.
Background Report Alert
An alert that notifies the user if a specific report might take a few moments to process and allows the user to put the report in the background and continue working in DeepSee.
Background Reports
Shows a list of reports that have been put in the background and enables the user to view the type of reports, status of the reports, and when they were created.
HTML Preview
Displays a preview of a reconstructed HTML page from the raw packets that have been recorded on the DS Appliance – an historical view of the page at the time of capture.
IM Results
Lists any instant message conversations found within the captured data – when the messages were sent, who sent them, and the duration of the conversation.
Top Bandwidth Users
Provides the user with a graph to identify the IP addresses using the most bandwidth on the network.
